Multimodos of representation in activities on hygiene for the infantile education

Este artigo resulta de uma pesquisa, com alunos da Educação Infantil, durante intervenções desenvolvidas a partir do tema higiene. O estudo teve como objetivo verificar a aprendizagem dos alunos de Educação Infantil (crianças de 0 a 5 anos) com relação à pediculose e à higiene bucal. As atividades foram realizadas utilizando-se de diversos modos de representações, pois para a formação de conceitos por crianças desse nível de ensino são necessários, além de materiais de apoio concreto, a utilização de múltiplas representações relativas aos assuntos abordados nos conteúdos. Por meio da pesquisa, foi possível verificar a importância da representação em multímodos para a elaboração de conceitos, mas se observa que o tempo de intervenção não foi suficiente para fazer inferências a respeito da aprendizagem de longo prazo.
This paper results from a research, with pupils of the Infantile Education, during interventions developed from the subject hygiene. The study had as objective to verify the learning of the pupils of Infantile Education (children from 0 to 5 years) with regard to pediculose and to the buccal hygiene. The activities had been carried through using diverse ways of representations, because for the formation of concepts by children of this level of education it is necessary, in addition to concrete support materials, the use of multiple relative representations to the approached subjects in the contents. By means of the research, it was possible to verify the importance of the representation in multimodes for the elaboration of concepts, but it was observed that the intervention time was not enough to make inferences regarding long run learning.
