Saying “snakes and lizards”: an experience of environmental education with future Biology teacher’s

O presente artigo traz como objetivo estudar as percepções dos alunos do curso de Licenciatura em Biologia de uma faculdade da rede particular do Ceará ao vivenciarem uma experiência pedagógica em espaço não-formal de ensino, através de uma visita guiada ao o Núcleo Regional de Ofiologia (NUROF-UFC). A visita foi dividida em três andamentos básicos. Ao analisar os diários de aula produzidos pelos alunos após a visita, percebemos que de inicio, os estudantes tiveram uma sensação de estranhamento ao se depararem com as serpentes, todavia, com o andar da visitação, essa sensação foi se transformando num “olhar de curiosidade”, de busca epistêmica por conhecer os seres vivos, e perceber a si mesmo como futuro professor.
This paper has the objective to study the conceptions of some students at a Biology course in a Private College of the State of Ceará-Brazil when they got a pedagogy experience at a non-formal space, through a guided visitation for the Herpetology Regional Nuclei (NUROF-UFC). The visitation was split by three basic moments. We analyzed the student’s class diaries after visitation, we found that at beginning, the students had many sensations, for example fear and unfamiliar when they look at the snakes, however, when they finished the visitation, these filings had changed by a curiosity way, way acquainted with the living animals, and they look into themselves as future teachers.
