Agroecological knowledge Applied to the Teaching of Natural Sciences

A presente pesquisa propôs a caracterização de estratégias didáticas a partir de conhecimentos agroecológicos para o ensino de ciências de forma contextualizada e facilitadora. A população amostral foi constituída por 30 alunos da 6ª série do ensino fundamental. A pesquisa norteadora deste estudo foi de caráter quali-quantitativo tendo o questionário como instrumento de coleta de dados. Os participantes da pesquisa tiveram acesso ao conteúdo teórico sobre conhecimentos agroecológicos simultaneamente com aulas práticas nos laboratórios de biologia do IFAM. Os conhecimentos agroecológicos foram de suma importância para elucidar as dúvidas dos alunos quanto a conceitos ilustrados nos livros didáticos, permitindo a correlação da teoria com a prática.
This research proposed the characterization of didactic strategies from agroecological knowledge for science teaching of contextualized and facilitative way. The population sample consisted of 30 students of the 6th series of elementary school. The guiding research of this study was qualitative and quantitative character with the questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The participants research had access to the theoretical content of agroecological knowledge simultaneously with practical classes in IFAM Biology laboratories. Agroecological knowledge was very important to clarify the doubts of the students regarding the concepts illustrated in the textbooks allowing the correlation of theory and practice.
