The Deductive Logical Reasoning in operations with integers

O presente trabalho investiga o raciocínio lógico dedutivo em operações com números inteiros, em duas turmas de 7º ano da Educação do Campo, em modalidades de ensino distintas, uma na Educação de Jovens e Adultos e outra no Ensino Regular. A pesquisa segue uma abordagem qualitativa por meio da observação participante, tendo como estratégia metodológica o uso de materiais manipuláveis e norteada pela questão: quais estratégias de raciocínio lógico são utilizadas pelos estudantes das diferentes faixas etárias para resolver operações com números inteiros? Os resultados apontam que, mesmo de maneira implícita, a lógica dedutiva está presente nas estratégias de resolução utilizada pelos alunos em ambas as modalidades de ensino.
This paper investigates the logical and deductive thinking in operations with integers, in two classes of 7th grade from field Education, in a different teaching method, one in Youth and Adult Education and the other in regular education. The search follows a qualitative approach by means of participant observation. Therefore, the methodological strategy is the use of manipulable materials and guided by the question: what strategies of logical thinking are used by students from different ages in order to solve operations with integers? The results point that, even in an implicit way, logical thinking is present in both modalities of teaching.
