Reading and science teaching: Reading strategies for the genre map

Este artigo apresenta reflexões resultantes sobre estratégias de leitura no Ensino de Ciências. A abordagem tem como foco a disciplina de Ciências no Ensino Fundamental II, 6° ano, ressaltando estratégias de leitura para o gênero textual mapa. Neste artigo, o objetivo é apresentar questões sobre ensino de Ciências e estratégias de leitura, como uma amostra dos estudos que foram realizados com outros gêneros e da funcionalidade das estratégias de leitura. Como suporte teórico sobre as estratégias de leitura foram analisadas referências dos seguintes autores: Solé (2008) e Oliveira (2010). A abordagem metodológica, do ponto de vista dos procedimentos técnicos, parte-se de um enfoque argumentativo de caráter bibliográfico e apresentação de estratégias de leitura para o gênero textual mapa.
This article presents resulting reflections on reading strategies in science education. The approach focuses on the discipline of Sciences in Primary Education II, 6th year, emphasizing reading strategies to the genre map. In this article the aim is to present questions about teaching science and reading strategies, as a sample of the studies that have been conducted with other genres and functionality of reading strategies. As theoretical support on reading strategies the following authors references were analyzed: Solé (2008) and Oliveira (2010). The methodological approach from the point of view of technical procedures, part is an argumentative approach of bibliographic and presentation of reading strategies to the genre map.
