Different ways of to broach the sexually transmitted diseases in school environment

A sexualidade passou por diversas percepções ao longo da história. A repressão e a condenação do sexo levaram a falta de conhecimento do próprio corpo e do comportamento sexual. Esses fatores contribuíram para a marginalização das discussões sobre a sexualidade, o que facilitou a proliferação de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis (DST’s). Hoje, como forma de conter a proliferação de casos de AIDS e o aumento de casos de gravidez entre adolescentes, as preocupações com a orientação sexual na escola foram intensificadas e a educação sexual que antes era transmitida dos pais para os filhos, passou também a ser de responsabilidade escolar. No entanto, a forma como este conteúdo é transmitido aos alunos do ensino básico, é passível de questionamentos, visto que os alunos demonstram certo distanciamento sobre o tema sexo e suas implicações. Considerando que a compreensão sobre DST’s pode ser otimizada, por meio da utilização de múltiplas abordagens de ensino, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar intervenções dinâmicas e dialogadas no ambiente de sala de aula sobre o tema DST’s com alunos do Ensino Médio de uma escola estadual do município de Alegre, ES. Para tal, foi realizada uma aula dialogada, que contou com a exposição de diversas imagens. Além disso, contaram com a distribuição de preservativos e panfletos informativos aos alunos. Por fim, foi aplicado um questionário anônimo contendo questões abertas e fechadas, com a finalidade de averiguar o efeito da aula no aprendizado sobre o tema DST’s. Durante as atividades foi possível observar que houve bastante interesse por parte dos alunos, havendo uma interação positiva entre os autores e os mesmos. Os questionários possibilitaram visualizar o aumento do conhecimento sobre as DST’s. Após a análise dos resultados, podemos concluir que este trabalho teve o objetivo alcançado, visto que as dúvidas foram minimizadas.
Sexuality has gone through several perceptions throughout history. Repression and condemnation of sex led to a lack of knowledge of ones own body and sexual behavior. Such factors contributed to the marginalization of the discussions about sexuality, which favored the proliferation of sexually transmitted disease (STDs). Today, as a way to contain the proliferation of cases of AIDS and the increase in cases of teenage pregnancy, the concern about sexual orientation in school have been intensified, and the sexual education that was once transmitted from parents to their children, has also become of school responsibility. However, the way how this content is transmitted to basic education students is questionable, as the students show some distancing about the theme sex and its implications. Considering that the comprehension about STDs can be optimized by using multiple teaching approaches, the present work had as objective to realize dynamic and dialogued interventions in classroom environment about the theme STDs with high school students in the municipality of Alegre- ES. For this, a dialogue class was held, with the exposure of several images. Besides that, there was the distribution of preservatives and informational pamphlets to the students. Finally, an anonymous questionnaire was applied containing open and closed questions, with the purpose of inquire the effect of the class in the learning about the STDs theme. During the activities it was possible to observe that there was a lot of interest by the students, with a positive interaction with the authors. The questionnaires showed an increase in knowledge about STDs. After the analysis of the results, we can conclude that this work achieved its goal, since the doubts were minimized.
