A PMTU with CTSA approach in physics education: generation, production and consumption of electrical energy

Este trabalho apresenta o relato da aplicação de Unidade de Ensino Potencialmente Significativa (UEPS) com enfoque CTSA (Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente) no ensino de Física, especificamente o estudo da eletrodinâmica, através do tema eletricidade. O objetivo foi verificar de maneira qualitativa a eficácia da aplicação/realização de uma sequência didática e, se esta possibilitou de maneira satisfatória uma aprendizagem significativa. Apresenta-se o roteiro das atividades realizadas e a análise crítica destas, buscando evidências de um aprendizado bem-sucedido do conteúdo proposto. Feito isto, evidencia-se que a aplicação da UEPS com enfoque CTSA pode ser considerada uma alternativa proveitosa para o ensino de Física.
This work presents the report of the application of a Potentially Meaningful Teaching Unit (PMTU) with a STSE (Science, Technology, Society and Environment) focus in physics teaching, specifically the study of electrodynamics, through the theme of electricity. The objective was to verify in a qualitative way the effectiveness of the application / accomplishment of a didactic sequence and, if this enables in a satisfactory way a meaningful learning. It presents the script of the activities carried out and the critical analysis of these, looking for evidences of a successful learning of the proposed content. This way, it is evident that the application of the PMTU with STSE approach can be considered a useful alternative for the teaching of Physics.
