The sun in an interdisciplinary look. Report of a teaching experience with emphasis on solar physics

Nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais o ensino contextualizado assume a condição de tema central, sendo a partir dele que se compreende a interdisciplinaridade e se desenvolvem as competências propostas. Neste texto buscamos relatar e discutir brevemente numa perspectiva interdisciplinar o trabalho conjunto de professores de diversas áreas do conhecimento sobre um tema do nosso cotidiano: o Sol. A escolha deste tema foi pautada em vários motivos, dentre eles, por ser um tema vivenciado por todos e pouco conhecido pelas pessoas, e ainda por ser um tema que naturalmente permite uma abordagem interdisciplinar. Não temos a pretensão de apresentar análises de resultados com a rigidez que uma pesquisa científica exige, mas sim relatar a experiência de um trabalho interdisciplinar em uma escola pública do estado de São Paulo. Neste sentido, adotamos um viés de relato de experiência didática que possa motivar colegas professores a desenvolver trabalhos deste tipo em suas escolas sedes. Ao término das atividades concluimos que trabalhar o ensino de maneira contextualizado, no qual o aluno vivencia, aprende e discute com a integração de diferentes disciplinas, possibilita a compreensão do tema trabalhado em seus diferentes aspectos, sejam eles de cunho humanístico ou científicos, não limitando o conhecimento a fronteiras disciplinares e propiciando ao aluno uma visão não fragmentada da ciência.
In the National Curriculum contextual teaching assumes the condition of the central theme, and from it comes an understanding of the interdisciplinary skills and the development of the proposed competencies. In this work we report and briefly discuss an interdisciplinary working group of teachers from different fields of knowledge on a topic of everyday life: the sun. The choice of this theme was based on several reasons, among them, because the subject was experienced by all but little known by people, and because it was a subject that naturally allows for an interdisciplinary approach. We do not claim to present analysis results with a stiffness that scientific research requires, but to report the experience of interdisciplinary work in a public school in the state of Sao Paulo. In this sense, we adopt a bias in the reporting of a teaching experience that can motivate fellow teachers to develop this type of activities in their schools. At the end of the activities we realized that the work of teaching in a contextualized way in which the student experiences, learn and discuss the integration of different disciplines, enables the understanding of the subject worked in its different aspects, whether humanistic or scientific in nature, not limited to understanding the boundaries between disciplines and providing students with a not fragmented vision of science.
