Track life in Salinas: an entertaining tool in science education and the construction of scientific concepts linked to local agricultural production

O presente estudo descreve uma investigação sobre a elaboração e aplicação de uma ferramenta lúdica envolvendo como tema transversal a agricultura local, buscando atender aos parâmetros curriculares nacionais. Para isso, foi desenvolvido um jogo de tabuleiro contendo cartas perguntas conceituais e atitudinais que permitiram aos alunos se envolver e compreender de maneira contextualizada a cadeia produtivade cana e derivados (CPCD), que mantém economicamente e destaca o município de Salinas no cenário nacional.O estudo foi desenvolvido com alunos de diferentes anos do ensino fundamental em escola pública do município de Salinas, norte de Minas Gerais. Primeiramente, a ferramenta foi aplicada com os professores, para que os mesmos conhecessem e se apropriassem do instrumento e, em seguida, as intervenções foram realizadas com os alunos. Como resultado direto, observamos que a ferramenta possibilitou melhoria da aprendizagem de conceitos científicos ligados a esta cadeia, além de possibilitar um incentivo à leitura e interpretação de literatura científica. Como resultado indireto, observamos a melhoria nainterrelação professor-aluno e entre os próprios alunos. Além disso, foi possível identificar ações relacionadas a aspectos de cidadania, o respeito mútuo, cooperação, compreensão e seguimento de regras, senso de responsabilidade e justiça.
The present study describes an investigation into the development and implementation of a playful tool involving as local agriculture transversal theme, seeking to meet the national curriculum guidelines. For this, we developed aboard game cards containing conceptual and attitudinal questions that allowed the students to engage and understand in context the productive chain of sugarcane and derivatives (PCSD), which maintains economic and highlights the municipality of Salinas on the national scene. The study was conducted with students from different school years at a public school in the city of Salinas, north of Minas Gerais. First, the tool was applied to teachers, so that they know and appropriating the instrument and then the interventions were conducted with students. As a direct result, we observed that the tool has enabled improved learning scientific concepts related to that chain, and enable an incentive to the reading and interpretation of scientific literature. As an indirect result, we observe the improvement at-teacher-student relationship and between students themselves. Furthermore, it was possible to identify related aspects of citizenship actions, mutual respect, cooperation, understanding and following rules, sense of responsibility and justice.
