Ministry as a practice of environmental education

O crescimento do volume de resíduos orgânicos representa um grande problema para a qualidade ambiental. Visando o melhor aproveitamento desse lixo, o presente estudo tem por objetivo ensinar sobre construção de um minhocário para aproveitamento de resíduos orgânicos e a confeccionar hortas verticais usando o húmus proveniente do minhocário. Essa prática de Educação Ambiental aconteceu no Parque do Gafanhoto, no município de Divinópolis, MG, e foi dividida em três fases: construção do minhocário, visita de alunos da educação básica para a confecção de hortas e aplicação de um questionário para verificação do aprendizado dos envolvidos. A atividade se mostrou muito eficaz, ocorrendo o envolvimento e a participação dos alunos. Com isso, verificamos que o projeto pode ser um instrumento no auxílio a sociedade para minimizar os problemas relacionados ao lixo orgânico.
The increase in the volume of organic waste represents a major problem for the environmental quality. Aiming at the best use of this garbage, the present study aims to teach about the construction of a small hole for the use of organic waste and to make vertical gardens using the humus coming from the willow. This practice of Environmental Education took place in the Gafanhoto Park, in the city of Divinópolis, MG, and was divided into three phases: construction of the minhocário, visits of students from basic education to the preparation of vegetable gardens and application of a questionnaire to verify the learning of the Involved. The activity was very effective, with students involvement and participation. With this, we verified that the project can be an instrument to help society to minimize problems related to organic waste.
