Science teaching through the debate about the energetic alternatives with emphasis on the environmental question

Este trabalho é um relato de uma experiência didática que usou como estratégia para a educação científica uma simulação de julgamento. Foram envolvidos mais de uma centena de alunos da Educação Básica de um colégio em Criciúma, SC. A questão julgada pelos participantes foi qual seria a melhor escolha para a produção de energia elétrica: hidrelétrica/termelétrica, eólica/solar ou a nuclear. A estratégia culminou em um evento com a participação de pais e convidados que emitiram um veredicto sobre qual das estratégias julgavam a mais viável a ser adotada. O resultado apontou a nuclear como a escolha do julgamento.
This work is an account of a didactic experience that used how strategy for the scientific education a simulation of judgment. Were involved more than one hundred of students of Basic Education of a school in Criciúma, SC. The judge question by the participants was what will be the best choice for the production of electric energy: hydroelectric/thermoelectric, eolic/solar or nuclear. The strategy culminated in an event with participation of parents and guests that issued a verdict about which of the strategies considered the more viable to be adopted. The result appointed the nuclear energy how the choice of the judgment.
