Alternative method to the use of animals in the education: Construction of entomological collection in cold ceramics

As coleções entomológicas como modelos didáticos têm como objetivo a fixação de conteúdos da disciplina zoologia de invertebrados. Tais modelos buscam uma aprendizagem significativa e mais compreensível ao discente. Contemporaneamente essa estratégia necessita ser atrelada a diminuição do uso de animais como cobaias, sem gerar defasagens no processo de ensino. Este relato de experiência busca apresentar a confecção de uma coleção entomológica em cerâmica fria, e tem como finalidade a divulgação de um método alternativo à construção tradicional, demonstrando novas possibilidades para melhoria do processo de ensino-aprendizagem e a desconstrução da dessensibilização em relação à vida oriunda de aulas que utilizam animais de forma nociva.
The entomological collections as didactic models aim to fix contents of the zoology discipline of invertebrates. Such models seek meaningful and understandable learning for the student. At the same time, this strategy needs to be linked to the reduction of the use of animals as guinea pigs, without generating lags in the teaching process. This report of experience seeks to present the creation of an entomological collection in cold ceramics, and its purpose is the dissemination of an alternative method to traditional construction, demonstrating new possibilities for improvement of the teaching-learning process and the deconstruction of desensitization in relation to life come from classes that use animals in a harmful way.
