Characterization of proteins by Biureto method as an interdisciplinary proposal for the teaching of Coordination Chemistry

Com o objetivo de tentar contribuir com o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, usando como principal estratégia pedagógica a interdisciplinaridade, a Biologia é aqui apresentada como ferramenta a ser utilizada na aplicação de uma aula sobre química de coordenação da componente curricular Química Inorgânica II. Este trabalho teve como público alvo alunos do 4º período do ensino médio técnico em Química de um Instituto Federal, no pretexto de elucidar a relação entre a Química e a Biologia, sob a ótica da Bioquímica. Dos resultados que serão aqui apresentados pode-se ressaltar que com o questionário prévio passado aos discentes, os mesmos apresentaram, a princípio, dificuldades em conseguir relacionar as duas disciplinas pretendidas, ao passo que após ser abordada uma aula teórica-dialogada entre os alunos de forma mais interdisciplinar, além de proporcionar uma experiência de mesmo cunho, a maioria dos grupos do segundo momento da pesquisa responderam de forma certa ou coerente as questões passadas. Entretanto, se faz necessário um tempo mais hábil, para melhor aproveitamento pelos alunos e consequentemente aperfeiçoar o seu aprendizado, uma vez que ainda foram observadas algumas dificuldades em relacionar as duas áreas trabalhadas de acordo com as atividades propostas.
In order to try to contribute to the teaching-learning process, using as its main pedagogical strategy the interdisciplinarity, Biology is presented here as a tool to be used in the application of a class on chemistry of coordination of the curricular component Inorganic Chemistry II. This work was aimed at students of the fourth year of technical secondary education in Chemistry of a Federal Institute, under the pretext of elucidating the relationship between chemistry and biology, from the perspective of biochemistry. From the results presented here, it is possible to emphasize that with the previous questionnaire passed to the students, they presented, in the beginning, difficulties in being able to relate the two disciplines intended, while after being approached a theoretical-dialogical class among the students of In a more interdisciplinary way, besides providing a similar experience, most of the groups from the second moment of the research answered in a correct or coherent way the past issues. However, it is necessary to have a more skilful time to better use the students and consequently improve their learning, since there were still some difficulties in relating the two areas worked according to the proposed activities.
