Resumo

O presente trabalho explora a import�ncia da experimenta��o no ensino-aprendizagem de ci�ncias a partir da utiliza��o do efeito estrobosc�pico para o estudo de fen�menos ondulat�rios, el�tricos e �pticos, al�m de proporcionar uma interdisciplinaridade entre F�sica, Qu�mica e Biologia. Acompanhada de revis�o bibliogr�fica, a descri��o da constru��o do aparato experimental compreende a elabora��o e confec��o de um circuito eletr�nico, a constru��o de uma bomba de �gua e a montagem da estrutura de sustenta��o do aparato. A constru��o simples, o baixo custo e os diversos conceitos interdisciplinares a serem explorados consolidam a busca de m�todos facilitadores por parte do professor no ensino b�sico. O incentivo do estudante � constru��o e desenvolvimento do dispositivo desperta interesse e curiosidade de forma natural, facilitando a constru��o do conhecimento de maneira significativa.

Abstract

The present work focuses on the importance of experimentation in science teaching and learning. The stroboscopic effect has been used for the study of wave, electrical and optical phenomena. In addition, it has also been used to strengthen an interdisciplinary approach across Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The description of the construction of the experimental apparatus comprises the elaboration and the preparation of an electronic circuit, the construction of a water pump and the assembly of the support structure of the apparatus. In addition, a theoretical brochure has also been produced to explain the physical, chemical and biological processes involved in the project. The simple construction, the low cost and the interdisciplinary concepts promote the search for teaching methods which may help ease primary and secondary teachers mediation. Results indicate that students motivation for constructing and for developing the device naturally aroused interest and curiosity, thus facilitating knowledge construction in a meaningful way.
