Interdisciplinary island of rationality: a look at the garbage in the noosfera campeira

O objetivo deste artigo é relatar uma experiência de prática docente e analisar as contribuições da Ilha Interdisciplinar de Racionalidade como proposta metodológica para a prática docente em Ciências nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental, com vista a formação de cidadãos críticos e atuantes na transformação da realidade socioambiental. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram estudantes do 6º ano do ensino fundamental de uma escola da rede pública estadual do município de Carambeí/PR. Projetos dessa natureza permitem ao estudante o acréscimo de mais autonomia. Portanto, o contexto de descarte incorreto/inadequado do lixo doméstico no meio rural permitiu um estudo interdisciplinar sobre a realidade socioambiental e os resultados evidenciaram que houve um impacto positivo, pois tanto a comunidade, quanto a escola envolveram-se no processo, além de contribuir para a construção da autonomia dos estudantes para uma formação cientifica e tecnológica.
The objective of this article is to report an experience of teaching practice and to analyze the contributions of the Interdisciplinary Island of Rationality as a methodological proposal for the teaching practice in Sciences in the final years of Elementary School, with a view to the formation of critical and active citizens in the transformation of social and environmental reality. The subjects of the research were students of the 6th year of elementary school of a school of the state public network of the municipality of Carambeí / PR. Projects of this nature allow the student to add more autonomy. Therefore, the context of incorrect / inadequate disposal of household waste in rural areas allowed for an interdisciplinary study on the socio-environmental reality and the results showed that there was a positive impact, since both the community and the school were involved in the process, besides contributing for the construction of student autonomy for a scientific and technological training.
