A game strategy in basic education: the use of the history of the chemical elements and Mende-leevs periodic table to discuss contemporary concepts

O objetivo deste texto é descrever uma experiência e uma estratégia didática voltada para a sala de aula da educação básica que utiliza a dinâmica de um jogo com cartões para reconstruir didaticamente a Tabela Periódica (TP) de Mendeleev. O jogo tem potencial para abordar conceitos contemporâneos de Física, Química e Astrofísica, em uma interface multidisciplinar do conhecimento; discutir criticamente elementos de História e Filosofia da Ciência através da problematização da história da TP de Mendeleev; tornar o ensino mais atrativo e significativo colocando os estudantes em ação através de elementos de jogo, com cartões.
The aim of this text is to describe an experience and a didactic strategy focused on the basic education classroom that uses the dynamics of a game with cards to reconstruct Mendeleevs Periodic Table (PT). The game has the potential to approach contemporary concepts of Phys-ics, Chemistry and Astrophysics, in a multidisciplinary interface of knowledge; to critically discuss elements of History and Philosophy of Science through the problematization of Men-deleevs PT history; make teaching more attractive and meaningful by putting students in ac-tion through playing cards.
