Pedagogical Arts for the Teaching of Sciences in Fundamental Education: an Innovative and Interdisciplinary Approach

Artefatos pedagógicos são ferramentas didáticas inovadoras que ajudam no processo ensino-aprendizagem. Esses, em uma pesquisa-ação, foram implementados durante o estágio supervisionado de Ciências da Natureza no Ensino Fundamental, de setembro a novembro de 2016. Envolveram alunos do oitavo ano da Educação Básica, em um município do interior do Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil. O objetivo geral foi refletir sobre o uso de artefatos pedagógicos para propor o ensino de Ciências da Natureza sob uma perspectiva interdisciplinar, contextualizada, crítico-criativa e mobilizadora para a (re)construção do conhecimento como inovação pedagógica. O trabalho didático começou com a observação da turma e a contextualização da escola campo de estágio, seguida pela análise das informações e planejamento das aulas, mais especificamente dos conteúdos de Biologia, desenvolvidos interdisciplinarmente. Utilizou-se diário de itinerância em formato de blog da estagiária, bem como observações e conversas informais com a turma. As atividades foram desenvolvidas a partir da metodologia dialética, nos três momentos pedagógicos: mobilização/problematização para o conhecimento, construção/organização do conhecimento e elaboração da síntese/aplicação do conhecimento; sendo que os alunos apresentaram grande interesse nas atividades, assim como apreenderam o conteúdo. Alguns princípios da inovação pedagógica foram vivenciados na ruptura com a forma tradicional de ensinar e aprender, com uso de diversos artefatos pedagógicos no desenvolvimento dos conteúdos de forma interdisciplinar e integrada; na valorização dos saberes populares do cotidiano dos estudantes, importantes para a contextualização dos conhecimentos sistematizados; no protagonismo dos alunos nas decisões e na valorização das suas produções orais e escritas; e, por fim, no processo de mediação entre os sujeitos envolvidos.
Pedagogical artifacts are innovative didactic tools that aid in the teaching-learning process. These, in an action research, were implemented during the supervised stage of Natural Sciences in Elementary School, from September to November 2016. They involved eighth grade students of Basic Education in a municipality in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. The general objective was to reflect on the use of pedagogical artifacts to propose the teaching of Natural Sciences from an interdisciplinary, contextualized, critical-creative and mobilizing perspective for the (re) construction of knowledge as a pedagogical innovation. The didactic work began with the observation of the class and the contextualization of the school stage field, followed by the analysis of the information and planning of the classes, more specifically the contents of Biology, developed interdisciplinarily. A roving diary was used in the trainees blog format, as well as informal observations and conversations with the class. The activities were developed, based on the dialectical methodology, in the three pedagogical moments: mobilization/problematization for knowledge, construction/organization of knowledge and elaboration of the synthesis/application of knowledge; being that the students presented great interest in the activities, as well as apprehended the content. Some principles of pedagogical innovation were experienced, in the sense that there was a rupture with the traditional way of teaching and learning in pedagogical moments, with the use of several pedagogical artifacts in the development of the contents in an interdisciplinary and integrated way; in the valuation of the popular knowledge of students daily life, important for the contextualization of systematized knowledge; in the protagonism of the students in the decisions and in the valorization of their oral and written productions; and, finally, in the process of mediation between the subjects involved.
