OFICINA TEMÁTICA, EXPERIMENTAÇÃO E CORDÉIS NA FORMAÇÃO DE PROFESSORES
Thematic Workshop, Experimentation and Cordel in Teachers Training

Este trabalho tem por objetivo mostrar como a elaboração e a aplicação de uma oficina temática pode auxiliar na formação de professores para a Escola Básica. Nele o próprio pesquisador atua como sujeito e objeto de estudo. A oficina elaborada buscou articular o Ensino de Química a outras áreas do conhecimento, tendo como base o Ensino CTS (Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade), de modo a desenvolver a capacidade crítica e reflexiva discente. Seguindo um enfoque ambiental, utilizaram-se experimentos para se investigar a chuva ácida e o efeito estufa e a literatura de cordel, como instrumento avaliativo. O trabalho foi realizado no Instituto de Educação Professor Ismael Coutinho em Niterói no Rio de Janeiro e consistiu em três etapas: (1) Pesquisa bibliográfica; (2) Elaboração e aplicação da oficina; (3) A socialização e avaliação dos resultados. Pôde-se observar que a experimentação facilitou a construção do conhecimento e que a literatura de cordel permitiu a articulação de saberes científicos, populares e a divulgação da Ciência, trazendo uma dinâmica para a sala de aula. Os docentes em formação envolvidos perceberam a importância do uso de diferentes instrumentos para o desenvolvimento de um saber mais amplo, instigante e contextualizado.
This work aims to show how the elaboration and application of a thematic workshop can help in the training of teachers for the Basic School. In it the researcher himself acts as subject and object of study. The elaborate workshop sought to articulate the Teaching of Chemistry to other areas of knowledge, based on the STS (Science, Technology and Society) Teaching, in order to develop critical and reflective student capacity. Following an environmental approach, experiments were used to investigate acid rain and the greenhouse effect and the cordel literature as an evaluation tool. The work was carried out at the Institute of Education Professor Ismael Coutinho in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, and consisted of three stages: (1) Bibliographical research; (2) Preparation and application of the workshop; (3) The socialization and evaluation of results. It could be observed that experimentation facilitated the construction of knowledge and that cordel literature allowed the articulation of scientific and popular knowledge and the dissemination of Science, bringing a dynamic to the classroom. The training teachers involved realized the importance of using different instruments for the development of a broader, more insightful and contextualized knowledge.
