A MODELAGEM MATEMÁTICA COMO FERRAMENTA INVESTIGATIVA NOS PROCESSOS DE ENSINO E DE APRENDIZAGEM DE FÍSICA
Mathematical Modeling as an Investigative tool in Physical Teaching and Learning Processes

Este trabalho utilizou-se da Modelagem Matemática como metodologia didática para os processos de ensino e de aprendizagem em Física, visando observar pontos positivos e negativos dessa estratégia em sala de aula. Assim, foi utilizada uma abordagem de cunho qualitativo do tipo pesquisa exploratória, visando investigar como uma situação real do cotidiano pode ser descrita através de mecanismos matemáticos e interpretações fundamentadas em conceitos físicos. Logo, observou-se que o desenvolvimento de atividades investigativas proporcionam a construção de conhecimentos. Desta forma, espera-se que a Modelagem Matemática ganhe cada vez mais espaço no ambiente da sala de aula conversando de forma interdisciplinar com as ciências, tendo em vista que essa ferramenta pode ser trabalhada por diferentes perspectivas.
This work used Mathematical Modeling as a didactic methodology for the teaching and learning processes in Physics, aiming to observe positive and negative points of this strategy in the classroom. Thus, a qualitative approach of exploratory research type was used, aiming to investigate how a real situation of daily life can be described through mathematical mechanisms and interpretations based on physical concepts. Therefore, it was observed that the development of investigative activities provides the construction of knowledge. Thus, it is expected that Mathematical Modeling will gain more space in the classroom environment by talking in an interdisciplinary way with the sciences, considering that this tool can be worked from different perspectives.
