A ORIGEM DA VIDA ATRAVÉS DA EXPERIMENTAÇÃO COMO INSTRUMENTO DIDÁTICO NO ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS
The origin of life through experimentation as a didactic instrument in science teaching

Este estudo objetivou contribuir para uma aprendizagem significativa e colaborativa em uma situação-problema para auxiliar na construção do conhecimento sobre o tema Origem da Vida, além de compreender um pouco mais sobre o método científico. Sendo assim, realizou-se uma experimentação semelhante à realizada pelo médico italiano Francesco Redi (1626-1697), a partir das etapas do método científico. Participaram deste trabalho 47 educandos de duas turmas de 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma instituição escolar privada de Santa Maria/RS. Para análise dos dados foi utilizada a Análise de Conteúdo e os resultados foram organizados através do Programa GraphPad Prism 6. Os resultados obtidos foram muito significativos uma vez que ao utilizarem o método científico como forma de investigação na prática, os estudantes também puderam refletir e compreender fenômenos que acontecem diariamente. Embora simples, acredita-se que a metodologia proposta constituiu um instrumento válido e eficaz no processo ensino-aprendizagem e na construção do conhecimento científico dos educandos, pois é uma ferramenta mediadora que relaciona a teoria e prática.
This study aimed to contribute to meaningful and collaborative learning in a problem situation to assist in knowledge construction on the topic. In addition to understanding a little more about the scientific method. Thus, an experiment similar to that of the Italian doctor Francesco Redi (1626-1697) was carried out on the theme Origin of Life, from the stages of scientific method. Participated in this study 47 students from two classes of 6th grade in elementary school at a private school institution in Santa Maria/RS, Brazil. For data analysis, Content Analysis was used and the results were organized using the GraphPad Prism 6 Program. The obtained results were very significant since when using the scientific method as a form of investigation in practice, the students were also able to reflect and understand phenomena that happen daily. Although simple, it is believed that the proposed methodology is a valid and effective instrument in the teaching-learning process. Besides, it was able to help in the construction of the students scientific knowledge, because it is a mediating tool that links theory and practice.
