Abstract

In this work, an activity proposal entitled “Sonic and Crazy Jump: A teaching proposal about energy” will be presented, which was developed by the members of the Pedagogical Residency Program of the Physics nucleus of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in partnership with a federal public school.  The script approach IS in the teaching by investigation method and it is aimed at second grade classes of regular high school, focusing on the teaching of Mechanics through the discussion about circular motion forces and the mechanical energy conservation of a system.  In this way, students will be separated into groups with the necessary materials for each step of the experiments and, through problem solving, they will discuss the observed phenomena.  In the end, students are expected to understand the concepts addressed and be protagonists in the construction of their knowledge.
